Background |

Dr. Eric Horowitz received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at Davis in 1987. His research focused on modeling nuclear fusion
reactors on the World's first Cray-2 computer.
He moved from modeling physical systems to telecommunications networks in 1990 for Computer Sciences Corporation. In that capacity he started using the OPNET modeler tool. Innovations in using this tool caught the attention of the OPNET developer (then Mil3, Inc.) and he started consulting for them and their customers. This lead to the formation of Think Tank Enterprises, Inc. in 1997, which has been providing expert level consulting in modeling, systems engineering and data analysis ever since.
